Default Cobra Seats

These Cobra seats were pulled out of a C6 and I have a chance to buy them. Owner told me they are the carbon fiber model suzukka, but when I search they don't look the same.
Will they fit in a C5?
I assume if they do they will need new brakets. Where for brackets?
Is that model correct?

Thanks!

Are you getting the brackets too? If so, I believe the C6 seats and brackets are a direct fit in the C5

That would be great. Can anyone confirm this?

I will check to see if a forum vendor sells these type of seats.

Thank you.

C-6 seats bolt right into a C-5. The shoulder "bolsters" might come a little close, but if they fit in the C-6, it should be good.

Some feedback. They do fit C5 & C6s. The pictures below show the driver seat installed with the stock seat belt which is slightly difficult to buckle but works. They are for sale in classifieds becasue I miss having recline.

I love mine and use it all the time, long road trips, track events and always gets a second look at car shows, and the kids love to sit in them.

I had mine installed with by Phoenix Performance (see ad on this site) and this is the XL version of the seat with Phoenix custom fixed seat mounts.

Hi,

I am wanting to install Cobra Suzuka Pro's in my 2004 C5. Is your Car a C5 ? How much are the tracks provided by Phoenix ?
Which make harness bar did you install ?
Is the harness bar, seat and harness all, 'Hans' compatible ?
Sorry for all questions but I am a newbie !
Your comments would be appreciated !
Thanks

Yes, my Corvette is a 2004 Z06.

I don't recall the price for the mounts, but they are worth it, they are very secure. Please note they are NOT "tracks", tracks would be adjustable. I have a foxed mount which is not adjustable, unless you remove the mount & seat from the car. Phoenix might offer an adjustable track, but I am not certain.

Harness Bar is the Brey Krause Bar, which is C5 specific. I believe a Hardbar harness bar will work with this seat.

HANS compatible has more to do with the shoulder belt width, but yes I use a HANS set up with my seat and harness.

One footnote, I also used the Brey Krause lap belt clip in mounting system for the driver's left side lap belt. It allowed for more clearance rather than mounting the belt directly to the seat mount. The right side drivers seat lap belt mounting is bolted to the seat mount.

I hope this helps and welcome the Corvette Community, it's a lot of FUN.

I am trying to make a decision on seats and was hoping you could provide some help. You noted that this is the Cobra Suzuka Pro "XL version". Is that the GT? Also, what is your height? I'm 5'9 and find that I am too tallfor many brands based on where the harness holes are. Also hip size. Are you snug in the seat bottom and back? Thanks!

I just installed some Sparcos EVO II US and used Marrad Brackets with sliders. Here is the link to post

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...-included.html

Marrad has C5/C6 brackets and they have option for the side mounts depending on the width of the seats.
