The halo's are not visible unless you apply power to them. So, you don't hook them up if you don't want them to be seen.

Awesome, these will definitely be a first mod when I get my C5.
Have these shown any issues with the buckets raising and lowering? I've seen some people have gone HIDs and haven't been able to get the buckets to lift.
