I was thinking about adding them and I stalled but then I saw these stripes and knew I was going to pull the trigger.

Did these stripes come with a protective layer on top of the vinyl to help position the stripes, etc.? The stripes I installed did not which made it a little tricker install and you had to be a lot more careful in squeezing out the air bubbles.

They did not have a cover on top- individual pieces. BUT, since these are C5 specific, they are rather easy to install in that the wheel well lines are your guide. If you placed it to far one way or the other, the bottom of the decal would not line up correctly along the curve. As long as you follow the lines of the wheel well curve, you can’t really screw it up. They do have measurement instructions included but I found that it was idiot proof so I did not really need them. Now holding it in place and trying to squeegee out the water is an art. I have done tinted windows before, so I am pretty good with it.

So I was poking around CorvetteMods for these stripes and couldn't find the nice 2toned set you have, only saw sold colors and none had the "ghost" flags either.

Do you happen to have a link by any chance

Use plenty of diluted soapy water and also use a plastic/rubber squeegee thing. Work water out from top down and inside out.
