Lowered C5Z's on stock bolts - IN HERE PLEASE
OK, so I've searched and searched and searched... Yes, a ton of threads come up in the search, but nothing really gives me a definitive answer or images that really show the difference or stance of the car.
So my question is.....
Who has a C5 Z06 lowered using their stock bolts adjusted? If you do how is the ride quality and please post up a good clear picture of your cars stance. Also include the tire size you're running.
I'm going to be lowering the Z soon and want to know if this is the best route for me being on a budget.
Thank you...

C5 Z lowered on stock bolts. Best "stance pic" I have. Ride quality hasn't changed at all. tires are 315/30/18 rear and 295/30/18 front. CCW classic rims

Ride quality lowered max on stock bolts (middle pic) was just a pinch stiffer then stock height. Handling was much improved. Ride quality was not much different than stock height.
Lowered the max on C6 bolts and long bolts in the rear was a back breaker setup.... ..... It looked good though...
I wanted my ride quality back so I'm on coil overs now.

WOW! I love your Z man. That is pretty much exactly how I want mine in the long run. Coilovers will happen one day. But budget is key right now. I can handle the stock bolt look for now. It's better than stock, that's for sure. Thanks guys. I appreciate the input.

Still need to do some adjustments, but here is mine, lowered as far as I'm willing to go on stock bolts. Ride quality wasn't drastically altered. It's stiffer, but I'm not low enough to bottom out, lose travel and uncontrollably understeer. I'm running Pfadt shocks and bars (JOC), which adds to the stiffness. Corners like a go-cart.

Final measurements taken at chassis lift points were F- 4-1/2", and R- 4-3/4" (+/- 1/16"). This was with factory rolling stock. Any lower, and you're asking for "trouble"- and will need to do what Toque did- coilovers...IMO
Hope this helps.

Not a Z06, but my FRC has - Fronts - 265/40/17 & Rears - 315/30/18 mounted on stock Z06 Speedlines, lowered all the way on stock bolts. DRM Bilstein Sport shocks and Hotchkis sways. Ride quality is stiffer than the Z51 package but stays planted to the road, with no hitting the bump stops that I had with the stock shocks after lowering.
Still would like a 18/19 setup to fill up the wheel well a little more!

I have selective ride on mine and it handles it just fine. Can't comment on how the F45 would respond to a lower drop with aftermarket bolts though, I refuse to go that route due to crappy roads and possibly bottoming out my shocks.

Well I lowered mine on stock bolts today. It is still up on jackstands though because I am waiting for my Corsa Xtreme to come. I also fixed my rocking seat and installed a Corsa X-pipe today! I'll post pictures when everything is done!

What are you guys measuring from the ground to the top of the fender, if you have removed the front bolts? I can't get my bolts to move (followed the common procedure on YouTube). I'm a little under 27" or 2 finger gap with 275/30/19, I want to reduce this gap more. Ride quality is fine right now.
