I've had 2 C5's - the first a 2001 came with the Goodyear Runflats - replaced them right away with the Michelin Pilot Sport Runflats - couldn't get over the difference - quieter and smoother riding.

My current 04 Vette came with Michelin Pilot Sport non runflats - love them very quiet and smooth riding - better than the Michelin Runflats BUT when it comes time to replace them I'll be putting on the Michelin Pilot Sport Runflats

I had a flat tire / blowout occur doing over 80 MPH with my 01 and the Michelin Runflats - car handled perfectly and got me home safely - I don't want to think what might have happened if I didn't have the Runflats

I've had those tires on for two years now. I've got no complaints, except they are noisier than I thought they would be. Not as bad as Goodyears, but not as quiet as the Kuhmo runflats they replaced.

Hey Phoneman, if you haven't already pull the plug, go get them, you want be dissapointed. I was a newby to the C5 and did my research both on-line, at car shows and at different tire retailers. I'm glad I decided with the Michelins. They work great on the track, are very sticky and I'm very pleased.

Due to a slight misalignment that was there when I bought it my fronts were worn more than the rears.Got my fronts first, and went on a trip. I was on a streatch of high way that had expansion strips and became aware of just hearing spaced out thumps, then I realize it was the difference between my Michelins on the front and Goodyears on the back.It was thump, thump, thump vs. thump thump, thump thump! The front Michelins were almost imperceptible compared to the rear Goodyears!!
IMO you cant go wrong with them!!

I had the run flat version on my C5 when I had it. Great tire especially for those that dare drive your Vette in the rain. I had the non-runflat version on my wife's Jaguar XJR. Great rain tire.

I just replaced my original tires on my 2001 Z06. I used Vredestein Tires front 275-40-17 and rear 295-35-18. Really nice tires...great traction. They cost me $944.00 shipped.

Very happy with mine...like them a lot better than the Goodyears that were on the car. I use the runflats because we travel quite a bit with the Corvette
