For the painted duct grilles:
Did you add any layers of clear coat to the finish? If so what did you go with? Just curious since i painted mine and I'm experiencing rock chipping like crazy on the front grilles

By the way, I have been swilling whiskey this evening but I do still think you need a new avatar.

Something about the front lip just doesn't look right to me, everything else is perfect!

Just my opinion, Car is beautiful!

Very nice... I too added the ACI splitter, side skirts... Get ready to scrape that splitter up... No matter how careful I am I always manage to scrape... I like it!

Wow, I couldn't have said it better myself. Truly inspiring words for the community! We obviously couldn't have done it without you guys

Yeah I had clear added. I'm not sure how thick it is but it's definitely there. Hoping to avoid any major chipping since it's a royal PITA to get mine out but I suppose time will tell.

Thanks for the kind words! Definitely helps to hear the good and bad to keep me going on the car.

I think I may know what you're referring to. I wish the front lip didn't have the outer sections bow out but there's really not much you can do with the shape of the nose as it is. It does look more subtle in person but hey I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. Just a little something different and not your plain jane C5, and overall I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Yeah, I'm being so careful right now but it's just a matter of time. Good thing my painter's a great fiberglass guy!

Two years and no issues? I have faith then! My roads are pretty smooth and I don't have to deal with ramps or speed bumps so I'll be trying my best to keep it as clean as possible! Your car looks incredible!

Johnny:

Looks great ! I like the new look !

With the front and sides done, it almost looks like you need something on the rear to complete the look. Or am I just being **** again.

Don't ask him about the bottle of black touch up paint in his glove box...
