Car Cover Dilemma
I have a Evolution California Car Cover that seems to be breaking down; leaving grey dust all over the car. The top of the cover is perfect and repels water and the like as always. I can fix this issue inexpensively by buying a Coverite cover at my local parts store and use as an under cover. It's breathable and provides a moisture barrier. It's a $30 cover so by itself I wouldn't expect much protection. However, if used as an undercover with my existing cover, do you think it will cause a moisture issue or do you think I'd be ok?

How long have you had your cover? Could it still have some kind of warranty on it? I think before I used a second cover on the car, I'd get a replacement for the one you have and only use one.

The cover is 6 1/2 years old. I talked to Cal Cover people and they basically said that what I've experienced is not out of the norm. If I hadn't had some embroidery done on it, I wouldn't hesitate to just replace it.
