I replaced the aftermarket hood with OEM. The aftermarket one is sitting in a shipping box, had tried to sell it, but had zero interest in it.

Originally purchased 2 sets of the CF5s, set of 19s and a set of 20s. Have the CF flared rear quarters from Quik, awaiting the carbon flared fronts from him to get made, then ill run a 19/20 stagger with 285/30/19 up front and 345/25/20 rears. Have the tires as well for the setup.

Hopefully Quik gets the fronts built by winter, lookin to get the fenders installed, new paint, and put a set of 08 C6Z06 brakes, front and back done this winter. While the car is apart for the body work ill put a procharger kit on as well, with alky control and flip drive which is settin here waitin to get on the car.

Thanks guys for checkin out my car and the good words much appreciated.

Joe

Def good choice to redo the headlights, hood, and spoiler IMO looks so much better.

Yooooo Joe!

Hey, congrats on the transformation! I missed this thread when you started it but better late than never. That Vette's lucky to have you for an owner. You've really done a great job!

What are you planning to do with the spoiler? Practically give it away (to me) so I can paint it EB for my car? Lol

installed hydrocarbon console piece yesterday, still have to install the gauge bezel to finish up the CF interior, still need the trunk release piece to finish up the dash. like to have the door latch pieces done as well. all and all I like the upgrade over stock quite abit.

Looks great.
I've been kicking around the idea of the gauge bezels and painting them red. Do you like them pretty well in the brushed aluminum color?

^^^if you mean the color around the actual gauge, yes I prefer the brushed aluminum look over black.
