With relatively new hoses you'll be hard pressed to tell the difference.
Once the OEM hoses start to weaken, you can tell a big difference

OTOH What exactly does "private label" really mean? Not made in USA?

It means that the mfg doesn't put their brand on them so we can offer them at half the price.

how do you install them? Stock hoses have a bracket stuck on them.

Always wondered you are suppose to install them and keep them from flapping around

If these are the same lines you were selling about a year and a half ago they are a great upgrade over stock hoses. I have upgraded every Corvette I have owned over the years using disc brakes to braided stainless hoses. The pedal feel is very much improved. I must include that if your hoses are old a standard factory replacement hose will also improve the pedal feel but you can't beat the pricing on these replacements.

My 2000 had the original hoses on it and the replacement hoses are a direct fit. All factory retaining/ guiding hardware fits directly onto the new hoses.

How exactly do you remove the factory retaining guide hardware?

SO how do you remove this?

Do you simply pop the bottom clip off and the hose can move through the bracket or is it crimped onto the brake line?

You remove the retaining clip as you have already figured out. Make sure you have a good set of line wrenches or the vise grips with the "v on one jaw that is designed for hex nuts. This is imperative for removing the flex line from the hard line connection.
