Today I went to Home Depot, looked for a "safe" parking spot, and found one that gave me plenty of room between two vehicles.
What I failed to notice was the parking space was unusually "short" due to it being placed directly in front of a tree, which of course was surrounded by protective concrete parking barriers. Just when I was about to stop and put the trans in park there was an almighty "BANG!", and I immediately realized my mistake and that I had pulled too far forward.
But instead of the usual horrible, nerve-shattering grating and scraping noise of metal against concrete, I got the "BANG! of my Fangs hitting the concrete barriers and sliding up over them.
I reversed a few inches, exited the car, and got down to view the "damage". Instead of the torn metal of the radiator support brackets, all there was was an almost indistinct mark on the plastic Fang, so slight that you would need very close inspection to even be aware it was there.
These things are fantastic!

What is also great about Fangs is that after they have done the job in protecting your radiator support brackets, simply wet sand them down with some 2000 grit sandpaper to smooth over the surface and then wipe them down with some Mothers Back to Black or other black vinyl trim treatment and they look as good as new!

Got my fangs in the mail this week, install was easy and they look so much nicer than the scraped up metal. Very happy with the fangs, corvettes should come with these from the factory!
Thanks for an awesome product!

Whether your a Pro or a Do Your Own Repair kind of guy, here is a simple but very effective tool to help you make
easy work of installing your LS1-2-3-6-7-9 Timing and Rear Main cover and seals.
The AlignIt tool gets the timing & rear main covers centered perfectly with the crank and installs the seal in seconds! Check out the videos.
Having the seal centered accurately with the crank minimizes the chance of seal leakage.
Timing Cover AlignIt Only $26.95
Rear Main AlignIt Only $37.95
Hub simulator only $23.95
Buy more than one of the AlignIt Tools and save!

Finally got around to putting them on today, but in my case it was not a ten minute job.
As some of you will come across when installing these, the support brackets are not perfect because of years of going up on cement parking stops in shopping centers, of driving over extreme dips in pavement.
The new covers would not go over the rough edges of the support ,and I had to grind the high spots off with my dremel.
Other than that it was a pretty straight forward install.
One thing this process told me was, in the near future I want to replace my radiator support bracket.
One side is beginning to crack, due to years of hitting the things I mentioned above.
Bob.

Hi,
The Spoiler may kit before your skid plates. But, if your skid plates are exposed and able to contact anything the Fangs will work.
Thank you,
Christian
