I feel the speed. What's strange is the front ends of the C6s look squished and undersized compared to the same on the C5s.

i think i see what you're talking about. looks to me like it's just that that corner is loaded real heavy going through the turn & throws the normal perspective off

I can understand that. I can't afford to replace tires and brakes very often either.

you should have taken a couple of laps! it is too much fun to run those just to sit on the sidelines.

LOL, Over the years I have done them all, Boat racing, Bike Racing, Drag Racing, Road racing, You name it and I most likely have done it.
About the only thing I have never done is Balloon Racing.

Not the pylon racing they do, Now give me a good road coarse and I am game.
We have a nice road coarse not too far from here, I have been around the track. I have also been around Sears Point, Now called Sonoma Raceway in California.

No road coarses around here but we do have the pylon racing. A friend of mine bought a new ZL-1 Camaro he hardly has broke in and he's been doing it. He keeps telling me I need to give it a try. I keep having this vision on me laying on the ground by my car trying to get one of those pylons out from under it.
