Default Buying new tires.

Went into discount tire to buy Hancook ventus v12tires. I have old z06 18" all around. The salesman ask me what size of tires I wanted. I was stumped. He suggested 245/40 ,9.5 " wide on the front . 285/35 11.25"on the back. Is this a good size? As he suggested there are different sizes available . And widths.

i think that those are stock size tires for a coupe, but those are not stock z06 wheels. they look like aftermarket to me so who knows how wide they are

For a frame of reference I am running the same tires with 275/35/18's on a 9.5 in. front wheel and 305/30/19's on an 11 in. rear.
