hopefully never again
pulling the drive line in my c5 z06 due to some grinding 3rd to 4th blocker rings, I took it upon my self to remove the driveline my self, and have it built...with all the help I found searching and a lot of help to bill curlee over in tech section, and Torque many helpfully write-ups I was able to do the whole project ,I hope I never have to do that again..

I agree the forum members at great lending a hand with information, I just used toque's write ups to change my tranny fluid and rear, definitely took all guess work put of it. Not to mention you get to know your car better.

Congrats on a successful DIY project. Had to save a bundle too by not having to take it to a shop for the repair.

I did yes.i am glad I did it myself, it took more then 10 hours, but I was also cleaning everything as I went, which I doubt they would of done at the shop, I took it out today and she shifts like a new car!

The satisfaction of doing something yourself will always trump paying to have it done! Congrats and it is always good to hear people stepping out of the comfort zone to try something new.

Good going! Kudo's to everyone that trys to fix stuff on these. Vettes are not an easy car to work on, no matter what year. There's a lot of stuff crammed under there. It's kind of amazing how they can put everything in that limited space, and it's a bitch to get to most of it!
