Are you paying for labor or doing it yourself.

With ten grand I would say do a built transmission and a supercharger.

Hard to argue with what's been suggested.

Trade the Vert in on a Z06........then long tube headers, exhaust, intake and a tune.

Sell your car for $15k, put the $10k with it, and use it on a down payment for a used $50k C7. Other than that, supercharger.

10000 % on the mark!

If I had It to do all over again, I would do some forced induction! YOU WILL need to also do some transmission and differential UP-GRADES to handle the added power!!

Take car, take money and do a deal on a C6 vert. Gives you a good power bump and better parts availability. Spending $10k on a $14-15k car is not anything I would do.

I will throw in my 2 cents, I have an 01 vert. I wanted a sc. Did it and then ended up doing a new motor then a new transmission plus other stuff, without me doing labor, cost a lot more than that when all was said and done. If I had it all to do over I would sell my car and buy a already built one and save thousands. You can find these cars on this forum with way more money in them than 25k.

Good luck

This plan works, but you end up with not nearly as much power as a SC/LTs (opt.) and a good tune, with money left over from $10k. You can install the SC kit yourself, if you have tools.
