Default Best Source for Touch Up?

I need to get some touch up for my '98. You would think this could easily be done on line. BUT the first two companies that I looked at, who both claim to match all colors, did not even list Sebring Silver (WA9021) for '98 (0r '97) Corvettes despite it being one of the most popular colors in those years. Not exactly confidence inspiring, especially as they listed other colors that were not offered.

Anyone found a really good supplier, who provides a perfect match? I would like to get both an aerosol and a touch up bottle, although I only really need the touch up right now to deal with a few paint chips on the nose.

I have had good luck with this company for my Navy Blue Metallic. I have used both aerosol and bottle.

The chips on my hood were only clear coat deep.... you might look real close, yours might be the same way...
I just got a rattle can of clear lacquer sprayed a tiny bit in the cap... then used a toothpick to dop globs of clear on the chips...
but, first clean them with an ear swab and lacquer thinner ...
then I used 1500 grit sand paper and sanded them smooth ...
then I polished them with my polisher...
I repeated this several times to get them to completely disappear... just took lots of time and patience because the clear has to be dry and that takes a while...

They are one of the companies who have the '98 color palette wrong - in fact, they were the first people I looked at.

It looks like some places call wa9021 sebring silver and some call it metallic silver, not sure if there is a difference - conflicting info -

Dr Colorchip, worked very well on my black vette. Take a look at the videos available by plugging them into google. I give them a 9 out of 10, good product, works as advertised. I used it exclusively on rock chips. Take care!

I used Automotivetouchup.com. The color match was perfect for my silver color.

I'll try paintscratch.com. WA9021 is the code on the cover panel in the rear floor. Official GM name: Sebring Silver Metallic

The paint list for '98's has quite a few more options (some with very small build quantities) than were available when I ordered the car in 1997- at that time it was pretty much the same choices that had been available for the '97 model year.

All the details for anyone who is interested:

Here are some that have been mentioned on the forum before:

www.corvettepaintcodes.com
www.expresspaint.com
www.paintscratch.com
www.automotivetouchup.com

You could also try your local dealer or see if a local, trusted body shop can mix you up a small bottle of touch up paint.

you said you used dr color chip on your quicksilver. I am on their website and they don't show a quick silver for some reason. How did you order the correct one?

GM sometimes used different names for the same color. Order paint by the paint code not name. I've used automotivetouchup.com and they always get it right.

Guess I got lucky...purchased Dupli-color "perfect match" for my Torch Red coup with GM bright red. It was a perfect match.
