My mother-in-law found the orginal window sticker for the C5 we bought from her. I always thought it had the normal rear end gear ratio for A4 - I think it's 2.73?

Well, the window sticker says "Performance Axle Ratio - $300.00"

Nothing about what this ratio is, however. Any way to find out?

Some of my RPO's are smeared away.

That would be the 3:15 to 1 ratio. Only other factory installed ratio is the 3:42 only on 6 speeds.

Good news I guess, because from what I've read the 2.73 ratio is a pain to swap out.

You are looking for G92 for the 3.15 option. If you see it in there kudos, if not time to mod Really not a pain. I swapped my 3.15's for a 3.42's and a yank 3200. Totally different car and well worth the $. Either way enjoy the car and drive it like you stole it!
