Couple of new upgrades (pics)
Well I've finally got my car almost where I want it visually. Installed JOC Stage 1 suspension upgrade. Took front bolts out and lowered on aftermarket bolts on rear. New interior, C6 Z06 short throw shifter shaved down 1", tinted tinted tail lights and markers, Vararam CAI and Borla catback, new stereo and carbon fiber cross flags. Now this winter its time for some engine mods.

Sweet looking car. Love the lowered stance.

Good looking car. I like the HUmount too. I have that same Kenwood. Question though. What do people mean when they say remove the front bolts? I understand removing the suspension bolts, but what then does the spring sit on? Maybe I just can't picture it in my head.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed seeing a new radio in place, since mine is getting tired of playing CD's until the dash heats up. Most pictures show a modified radio opening, something I told myself to never do again, after I once cut a walnut burl dash to fit a modern radio. Perfect install, looked good , gave a lot of value, poor concept.
Pretty cool to see a guy complete his vision, or at least working towards it.
Time to cut the top off, that is, if you want to run with the big dogs.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! It is definitly still a work in progress. I did all the work myself and am pretty proud of it.
Once you take the bolt out that runs up throught the leaf spring the leaf spring just rests on the lower control arm. I haven't had any problems with it moving around or making any weird noises. It fits pretty snug.

I actually got them off another forum member. they are actually just overlays that go on top of your existing flags. Lots of vendors sell them. Just do a google search.

Love that interior.
I am going to do a single din headunit replacement and I can't decide between a carbon fiber filler plate or a CORVETTE logo one like that.
