Default Does Anybody sell NEW Alternators for C5?
All I can find are remanufactured units to replace my original Made in France Valeo (2001 Automatic)? Is that right???

Don't know, but why don't you take yours and get it rebuilt locally?

To my knowledge there is only one local rebuilder and they say they cannot get replacement parts (including the decoupler which I know is bad) for the Valeo (automatic transmission) model.

You can find some used units on eBay, from what I understand they don't make this any more
