Default New brakes

Just had new front and rear brakes put on (rotors). Drove it back from dealership and it seems I have to put a lot more pressure on the brake to make it stop. Is this normal?

I'll bet you had ceramic brake pads installed. Correct? If that is the case and depending on the formulation of your pads, it may require a little more pedal pressure to stop the car.

Personally, I've been sitting on the fence on whether to sacrifice stopping power for less brake dust. Look up some of the posts by Evil-Twin regarding the whole ceramic brake pad craze.

EDIT: I just reread your post and "A LOT" more pressure is not normal for any formulation of pad. I agree with JWM.

Not normal I'd have them look over it again.
