The sway bar upgrade will significantly reduce that body roll!

Greetings Friends,

We have the Z51 sway bars kit with the Genuine GM bushings for $230.39.

The reason people use these bars most on the C5’s and the C6’s is because unless you’re running 335 width tires in the rear, these are the way to go. These bars don’t cause the vehicle to ride “stiffer” per se. They are mostly for the cornering ability.

You know that feeling when you’re going into the turn and the car leans pretty heavily? These bars are meant to make the vehicle feel flatter in the turns and corner much better in the turns. Another advantage is the handling when you’re coming out of the turn. When you come out of the turns you will not be fighting the wheel as much as you would with the stock bars. These bars, since they’re thicker, make it easier all the way through the turns.

Below are the specifications and comparisons of the C6 Z51 sway bars compared to other Corvette suspension packages.

Corvette Sway Bar Specifications

Suspension Front (mm) Rear(mm)

C5 base 23.0 19.1
C5Z51 (97-99) 25.4 21.7
C5Z51 (00-04) 28.6 23.6
C5Z06 30.0 23.6
C6 base 25.5 17.5
C6Z51 31.0 25.4
C6Z06 31.0 28.0

We offer these sway bars with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks. Also, whether it is a C5 or C6, coupled with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks it makes a total different handling package. This package speaks for itself as we have many testimonials from many customers from whom we sold these to here on the forum!

To order, please call 484-949-2099 or go to www.gmpartshouse.com and use part number c6z51bars and be sure to select Chevrolet make.

Thanks. Gene.

25919502 – Front stabilizer bar
10339124 – Rear stabilizer bar
10387838 – Front stabilizer bar bushings (2)
15241135 – Rear stabilizer bar bushings (2)

Complete kit front and rear is $230.39
Use part number c6z51bars on our website under Chevrolet make.

2013 C6 Z06 Shocks!

We sell the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks for $265.68. Many C5 customers ask us why we don’t recommend the 2004 shocks over the 2013. Many people also say that the C6 shocks are only developed for the C6. If you look at all of the basic suspension components between the C5 and C6, they are very much the same. The reason we don’t recommend the 2004 Z06 shocks over the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks is simply because of the price and customer feedback. We have many customers who have tried both sets of shocks and cannot tell the difference between the two, so why not purchase the lesser expensive set!

For the C5, not C5 Z06, we also recommend the C6 Z51 sway bar kit. The C6 Z51 sway bar kit coupled with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks is our most popular suspension and handling upgrade for the C5.

To order, please call 484-949-2099 or go to www.gmpartshouse.com and use part number c6z06shocks and be sure to select Chevrolet make.

Thanks. Gene.

||--Genuine GM 2013 C6 Z06 Shocks--||

10313647 – Z06 Front Shocks
25819268 – Z06 Rear Shocks

Both sets of front and rear shocks (4) $276.74 total.
For the shocks on our website, use part number c6z06shocks under Chevrolet make.

The C6 Z06 shocks will work on stock C5’s and C6’s without modification.

We no longer offer PFADT poly bushings with the sway bar kit or any other PFADT products.
Just placed my order for shocks! Thanks

Any feedback from those who have added Z51 bars to a Base C6 with the F55 option?
Would you recommend the newer end links on a 2009?
Thanks for all you do for the Corvette community.

This is my lowered FRC and they work fine. Huge improvement.

I wonder if the ride will improve if I swap out my F45 shocks?
Also, if the shock length is different will the ride height change after install the new ones? Will that raise or lower the car?

Thanks!

If you don't have any noises or clunking coming from the end links currently I would not replace them.

Are these C6 Z06 shocks going to work with this?
Newbie here, so stop laughing.

109K miles, and shocks are kinda "Skooshy", (mild up and down on highway, makes me nervous with that 'Floating' feeling).
So I know the shocks need replacing.
Have you changed the sway bars to the ones Gene is offering in his post? Makes it like a different car. Not saying you don't need to do the shocks. But the sways make a huge difference. I know what you mean about that high speed floaty-feeling. It is gone since I went to the bigger sway bar set-up.
Hoping to do the shocks in 2015.

If you have the magnetic suspension you can still purchase the C6 Z06 shocks and install shock simulators so the system still thinks the electronic shocks are still installed.

You'll have a totally new handling car with the combination I am selling here.

Default Clutch Package

Gene my LS-6 03 Z hydraulics for the clutch have finally failed. I am in the market for a complete LS-7 package including a slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch, pressure plate, bolts, pilot bushing and alignment tool. Could you PM me a turn key price for all of the pieces shipped to my door, a stock flywheel is fine with me. My zip is 30019 I can not navigate your web site for some reason. Thank you for your help.

That is up and coming. We are going to develop another website for that and they will be linked to one another. That is my beginning of the year project. Until then please contact Patrick, patrick@cultragperformance.com, and he will take care of you on the mats with the discount.
