Default Dipstick advice for a dipstick!

Need a new oil dipstick tube and was searching online for the options. I did a LT headers install and could not get my oil dipstick tube to fit and not be in contact with a header tube so I bent/modified it slightly to work. The new routing of the path makes it very difficult to remove the dipstick and reinstall it as only goes back in with the end oriented one way. My second fear is that the new path has changed the reading of the dipstick. SO I was curious if anyone here has used or heard anything about the Lokar Flexible and Machined Engine Dipsticks found at Summit Racing (ED-5008).

The flexibility of the tube interests me, but I am concerned that the end of the stick might be close to the crank assembly and would cause me more troubles that it is worth. Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.

Glad you brought this up, I may have to go this route with my new turbo manifold. As it is I've been running 2000 headers on my 03 with the dipstick all bent around them :P

I used the XSPower LT's, and others have no had troubles reusing the OE dipstick and tube but for some reason I can not get mine back in...so I am going for the alternative.

Great thanks for your time and advice! Is it relatively stable removing the dipstick, IE haven't had issues with the bottom pulling out of the block?
