AC Delco 78-7year Replacement Battery $104
I was looking for a replacement battery for my C5 and found that a good candidate is the AC Delco 78-7 year battery at XL Parts for $104.

That's a good price for a battery for the C5.

Another good idea to keep in mind when shopping for parts is that Advance Auto Parts continually has a $40 off $100 coupon that is readily available online, do your searching. A couple of years ago I got a new Autocraft Gold 34/78 w/800 CCA (same as Optima Red Top) from Advance Auto for under $70 with the coupon. Battery was $107 then and with coupon $67. Added tax, no core charge since I installed at store. Also used Advance for my replacement oil pressure sending unit that had failed. It has lifetime warranty and I've saved the receipt so that if it ever fails again, I can just get another one for free. Its a brass unit and has been working perfectly for nearly two years now.
