Default Where do you store wheel lock?

I recently purchased a '99 vert. Where do you store your McGard wheel lock? I keep mine in the center console, but that is not very smart nor secure. The owners manual says there is a holder in the top of the trunk lid flange, but I am unable to locate it.

In the left rear storage compartment in the trunk, which is where the factory put it on mine.

There's a little indent between the center & drivers compartments.

That is where mine was.

Now it is on a shelf next to the locking lugs. I stopped using the locking lugs.

Thanks everyone. That was too simple. I read the manual and thought the trunk rail was at the top where the gasket is, not under the left storage cover. GM's manual language is over-complicated, just like everything else on this car.

When I find mine, It's in the car somewhere I think, I will replace the locks with standard nuts. My cars live in a garage. I don't need locks.

One of the first things I did when I bought my aftermarket wheels was do get rid of my wheel locks. I've seen way too many people forget where they put it. My car is seldom out of my sight, so I don't worry about someone taking the wheels.

Except for an '04 .. my '01 had the little 'dip' for it but not my '04' - so I keep it in a little pouch in the glove box.

I kept mine in my trash can, and now its in a landfill. First thing I did with my Z06 was throw away those McGuard lug nuts.

Did the 03 Anniversary Edition come with wheel locks? When I bought mine from the original owner, they were not on the car nor were they mentioned on the window sticker.
Just askin...Thanks

I searched high and low for the "secret dent" for the wheel lock, never found it on my 04 so thanks for your input The previous owner had a very nice pouch with some OEM? Aftermarket? tools in the passenger side compartment, that's where I found my wheel lock. still there... without a spare the tools aren't much help
