Default coolant leak

Just got home from work and noticed steam(smoke) coming out from underneath the hood. After I opened up the hood noticed a fairly heavy coolant leak coming from under the water pump. Can't really see it but it is slinging coolant pretty good on the pulleys underneath and throwing it everywhere. This was a sudden leak. Could it be anything other than sudden water pump failure? The belt has been chirping when cold for awhile now but no leaks that I could see. Thanks in advance for info.

May check the coolant lines connected to the bottom of the throttle body

Does sound like a water pump. Best of luck with the repair.
