I was just looking at my black car and have always had a thing for the 78 Indy Pace Car.
Has anyone done that two-tone paint scheme ala 78 Pace Car?

I'm thinking maybe a vinyl wrap?

I need to find a friend who can Photoshop to see what it would look like

Don't know about doing it, but that was the first corvette I seen on a show room floor as a kid, never forgot it, but i had to wait till I was 50 to own a vet.

Same here. There was a Chevy dealer down the block from my high school and I used to stop by everyday and sit in it when the salesman wasn't looking.

Don't recall seeing any C5s done like a '78 pace car, but would be interesting to see how it would turn out. If you do it, post up the pics.

78 pace car was my first Vette.

I think the two-tone scheme might work on a C5, but the C3's body lines (especially the distinct "separation" from upper to lower sections on the front/rear bumper) made that particular two-tone scheme a very natural fit. But give it a try pn your C5...you can always peel it off if it doesn't work.

I can only think of one C5 that I've seen with tutone paint. Black and red as I remember. Didn't look bad really.
