Default Question about the driver seat broken recline handle fix

** EDIT

Title meant to say "Question about the ROCKING SEAT FIX"

I've been working on my driver seat all day.
I did the rocking seat fix and been replacing the cable for the recline handle (broke off inside the seat like they all do).

My question after putting it back together is I think I may have made an error.

I noticed when putting it together that one of the "blocks" where you put the washers for the fix has an "L" marked on it and I noticed that one of them seems to have reversed threads.

I put the L side on the left seat rail but I wondered if that L was just to indicate reverse threads or if it meant "left side". The other one didn't have an R so that's what raised my suspicion.

I'm recovering my seats next week so the seat is still in the house. This is why I'm asking here and haven't been able to test it in the car yet.

The how-to I used was very detailed but didn't make mention of my concern so I wanted to ask.

Any help is appreciated.
