HELP. Need your ideas a sudden locked out reverse and...
I just had the transmission rebuilt and a new clutch installed in my 01 Zo6. Noticed immediately after the reinstall it was hard to get into reverse and would grind once in a while going to second from first. The grinding seemed to diminish after transmission warmed up.
After being parked overnight it now won't go into reverse at all and grinds going to second.
Any Ideas? Shifter misaligned? Linkage problems? Maybe the reverse lock out switch?
Had none of these problems when taken in. (other than the grinding before the rebuild)
Synchros and bearings were replaced. Taking it back next week but thought those on the forum could weigh in and give me some leads to follow!

Could be the wires or something with the reverse lockout solenoid but sounds like you have more than one issue going on.
