Default taking C5 out of storage

Had only 2 wks with my 'new' '02 Coupe b4 putting it in storage for winter. Got helpful tips from forum on storage. Is in climate controlled
garage, trickle charger, cover, dryer sheets in interior and engine
compartment, full gas tank w/stabilizer, oil change and new filter.

What is recommended when I finally get her out of storage ?

Change the oil if you haven't before storage and fire it up and enjoy the car!

When you start it up, let it idle for a minute or two to distribute the oil, then enjoy.

Check the air pressure in your tires, sometimes they lose a few pounds sitting all winter. Some guys put a piece of carpet under each tire, while it sits in storage.

Enjoy your C5 !

Why would you leave the battery in the car on charge while in storage? You must be a gambler.

Take the battery home!

I've stored mine in a climate controlled garage for several years. The only thing I do when I fire it up in the spring is let it warm up for about 5-10 minutes and let some of the air out of the over inflated tires. Since it's usually been sitting for 5 or 6 months, I drive it rather gingerly for a few miles until it's had time to warm up to operating temperature.

Nothing, unless it fails and overcharges spilling acid everywhere and on the PCM. Or, it fails and lets the battery drain down too low and shortens it's life. I understand putting a trickle charger on a car that you routinely drive and inspect but if you are not going to drive it for an extended period in storage I would remove it. I assumed your extended storage was not in your garage where you could keep an eye on it.
