Crane Is In the Skydome
For those of you who have been following the recovery process of the cars that fell in the sinkhole at the NCM, they just brought the crane into the building. It looks like things will be getting interesting very soon. There has been a lot of activity going on all day.

I have the streaming camera on at my office some during the day hoping to catch them pulling the cars out.

I would not even feel comfortable standing around that meteor crater!
That just looks like a failed attempt for China to seize technology.

Does any one know when the cars are going to start being lifted out? I looked at the timeline on the museum site but couldn't find anything real specific. I'm sure on a project like this there is some fluidity to the process as they get farther along and start hooking up the cars for lifting. I also hope I get to see them lifted out, but as a shift worker I may miss it. They would most likely record this? Ya think.

Should be real interesting to see how they get the cars out of there and to a safe location.

They first need to come up with a plan of action for how to get the cars out of the hole with minimum amount of damage, stabilize the hole, then start vacuuming the dirt from around the cars and pull them out one-by-one.
