Need help on which center cap color scheme to go with matte black wheels
I need some help here, guys and gals. I am trying to decide how to finish the center caps on my wheels. Keep in mind I have matte black wheels and lugs, so I was trying to tone down the bling aspect of the stock chrome center caps. I had painted them all black using Plasti Dip, but not sure if I like the all-black look. I am leaning toward the carbon fiber centers with chrome ring, as the carbon fiber covers up the "TSW" logo, which will allow me to go with a custom center cap decal over the carbon fiber. Anyway, I have 4 options as seen below, so I set up a poll to track everyone's favorites.
Original chrome center caps:
Four different choice: chrome, black center with chrome ring, all black, and then carbon fiber with chrome ring

I too think the CF with a chrome ring around it would look very good.

Black with chrome ring would be my choice.
I know you plan to add a custom decal to the CF cap, but I feel the carbon is too shiny compared to the matte finish of the wheel. It may look out of place. I'm also weird in the sense that if I don't have any other carbon fiber on the car, I wouldn't want just this one small piece. Doesn't put off a cohesive look to me.
Good luck with whatever choice makes you happy. Get it down to two choices and do the left side one way and the right another. Drive around for awhile until you know which is best for you.
