Personally I've got two sets of JL Audio speakers and a 10w3 JL Audio sub and it sounds amazing even with my cam/exhaust

Dennis at DD sells Kicker replacement for the door speakers and rear speakers. I have seen numerous threads where guys have posted the best $80 they ever spent.

I was getting a little "hum" with the OEM Bose speakers. I replaced them with Boston Acoustic (same size) and they sound good.
Now I don't blast the radio either, nor do I have any other audio equipment installed..........Good Luck with your choice.

This is the best advice as far as sound systems go. I'm loving the Arc Audio speakers I got from Dennis.

Dennis sold me the Kicker upgrade for $80 plus shipping and it changed everything for the better.

The Kicker speakers clean up the mid and high ranges nicely. Does not help much on the low end, but I wasn't looking to do that anyway.

Not going to win any audiophile contests with this simple mod, but a nice upgrade for not much $.

OK - Those that did the kicker upgrade, are they a direct bolt in? Did any of you snap before and after pics?

Thanks!

Once the speaker covers are back on, you cannot tell the difference from stock, which is what I wanted...
