Nice find !

Why not just drop in an LS3 though ?
Seems its rather common an upgrade I'm reading (and some friends have done the LS2/3 install in their C5)

Excellent find! I found my crate ls6 last year locally. Paid $4800 for it and sold the clutch for $200. Put it in with my son and neighbor and car runs great. These are very hard to find.

Didnt want to buy the extra adapters for 58 tooth gear and knock sensors, plus wanted to keep the ls6 block.

Yours looks like mine. Looks like a ctsv ls6 with a dual mass flywheel and clutch. I sold my clutch to a buddy with a ctsv and used my existing ls1 batwing oil pan. Put the ctsv oil pan on my existing ls1 for future old school project

I want one because it fits. Ls2/3 needs headers. I have headers for an LS1. Along with everything else. Why spend money if you don't have to?
