Default climate control

My '04 C5 has lighting around the ***** and buttons , but the digital display is dark. I have seen companies that will exchange or rebuild the climate control with new lamps so you can see the digital display.
Does anyone have experience with such companies, or is there other alternatives? Thanks!

Very easy to do, check out this thread https://www.corvetteforum.com/c5-tec...ml?styleid=140

If not comfortable with doing it you may be able to find a local forum member to help you out. Where are you from?

You can fix the dim display yourself and there are how-to's here on the forum. If you search and can't find one, just PM me your e-mail address and I'll send a few Word files to you.

If you don't want to try it yourself, get in touch with forum vendor JW Motoring - they do it at a very reasonable price.
