Default Automatic transmission leak

I have a transmission fluid leak on my 2004 coupe. Can anyone tell me where the most common area where this may be leaking from and also recommend a good shop in the Hayward California area which could look into this for me? I'm hoping it either a cooling line or a pan gasket which is leaking. I know, wishful thinking.
Thanks

seal pan gasket. But clean it all off, then let it run and look for the place it is leaking. But 1st is it a bad or slow leak. Robert

That's a pretty good size leak. If you can get the car in the air, see if you can pinpoint where the fluid is coming from. If not, do as the previous poster suggested and clean the area well and then try and locate the leak.

If all else fails, a good shop should be able to find the leak. Sorry but can't recommend a shop to take the car to.
