Done this since I got it but my 98 is not this way. When I put my parking lights on at dusk or dawn so my tail lights come on my headlights come up but stay off until I turn them on. Why would they come up when just turning on the parking lights? Prior owner jump a fuse or wire somewhere?

Same thing happens to me quite often. I have to turn the lights off and turn parks on again, sometimes 3 or 4 times, before the headlights stay down.

Thats odd. Do you get the turn signal issue too? They stop working but if you put your flashers on they will work again...at least for a while.

Nope, no flasher issues.

Your plastic gear is wearing out, it affects timing and also causes headlights to come up at wrong times.

Yep, next you will hear a grinding noise when you shut your headlights off.

It has been doing this since I bought it. Only put a few thousand miles on it though.

happens sometimes when i turn my fogs on, bit of a hassle but its whatever
thought it was because of my HID fog lights, but this could be the real reason
