Default Corbeau Sportline Evolution X

My question since really looking serious about getting a pair of Sportline Evolution X's, what about the all the things connected to the seat: sensors, bags, wiring, etc.

I don't want to get these and find out I have to live with lights flashing on my dash or other related issues.

Another question is the hardware, does the Corbeau hardware work or do I need to get those from a different vendor?

I wish I could find a place to sit in these and see if they are comfortable for me.

Also wish I could see them covered in real leather!

Mine had factory power seats. All disconnected. No flashing lights, nothing. I lopped off the factory seatbelt sensor, there was a little trick here but I don't remember what it was (search forum). Super simple; ground it as I recall, to prevent the seatbelt warning light.

Doing the steering wheel was more complex; had to wire resistors in the airbag wiring!

I *HATE* warning lights and such as well, and made sure to do it right. It was easy.

Quick question, what did you use to mount the sliders to the floor? I know brackets are hard to come by for our cars (in my experience)

TPSMak sold me the correct Corbeau double-locking sliders; see the 1st page for a pic or 2. Mounts directly to stock studs on the floor. They are solidly though rather crudely made and needed slight 'persuasion' to fit.

Can't go wrong!

I will buy these TOMORROW if someone can get them to me with the top corbeau in red and the loop holes either red or black. Mostly concerned with the loop holes. Why on earth make them white of all things? Black please.

Ive seen some buzz this might be possible. Any update on that? I want these.....now

What is the status of these? Any pics? I sent an email directly and didn't hear anything back. I would be very interested in picking up a set. Would just like to see them first.

Any progress in the last month?

There is a store in Belleville, NJ that has all Corbeau seats on display so you can try them out. I think the name is ROC auto.

I really like them minus the white holes. Still might consider them.

Do they just pop out? Or am I going to have to remove the seat cover?

I just installed the drivers side, went for a quick spin, yes these make a huge difference, I feel way more connected to the car. Only complin so far is I do not feel I sit lower as most say these are, and I lost about an inch of leg room, the seat does not seem to go back as far as the OE seat...its not a huge deal but I like the extra legroom at 6'1 tall...Ill get the passenger in tomorrow.
