Default 02 C5 won't start

This morning my C5 '02 automatic vette won't start. I suspected it was the battery, went and bought me a new one. Installed new battery but it is still doing the same. Engine won't roll nor crank just silence except for the noises of dashboard lights being turned on. Lifted car up and did the hitting of the starter/solenoid but to no avail. Still doing the same and DIC is not showing any code - Please help.

I know this is a silly question, but I have to ask, is the transmission in PARK?

No problem! I pulled my ignition switch last week but for separate issues. Pulling it and cleaning the contacts is VERY easy, don't be intimidated by the directions. If you're mechanically inclined at all it's no big deal, the worst part is pulling out all the dash trim to get to it

couldn't find that link about undoing the dash to get to the ignition switch anymore, i should have saved it to my favorites. Do you still have it and mind sharing? thanks
