Default Need a mechanic in the Memphis, TN area

I just bought a 98 that needs some work and don't want to take it to a dealer. Does any one know of a great/honest mechanic in the Memphis area?

I just asked the same question yesterday with no results. Strangely I find it believable that theres not a good mechanic with Corvette knowledge.

I live in Olive Branch MS. I have several corvettes and I go to Cecil's Automotive, 5445 Goodman Road in Olive Branch, 662-890-7801, give them a call and ask questions if you like.

They are not Corvette exclusive but they are knowledgeable and honest.

My sister has a 98 Vette and she uses them also.
They charge MS, labor rate about $82 an hour.
Not cheap but Honest.

I forgot but there's also a Cecil's on Houston Levee RD. 3815 S Houston Levee Rd Collierville, (901) 853-1300

I don't know any of the mechanics there but same owner.

If Jackson tn isn't too far ( bout an hour) ..there's a guy who owns an auto repair center who specializes in corvettes,,,, has raced them ,, etc..who would be extremely qualified,,,, Dennis Mitchells Automotive Center on Hollywood drive...731-256-7830.... Reasonable prices expert and honest

Your post is uninformed. If you had a clue about the Memphis performance car scene you'd understand. Most people fix what they own and the proof of that is the lack of responses to the original question.

But the Jackson lead sounds promising . . . thanks wheelman.
