Plasti Dip - Color Matched Turn Signal Lamps
Hey All -
I used to have the smoked lenses on my front turn signals, but didn't really like the look.
Soooo, I bought the Aluminum Metalizer and Glossifer from Plasti Dip to see how it would look and perform.
Does anyone else have ideas how to better color match?

Not a look I care for as it really reduces the visibility of the lights, but if you like it and it is legal in your state, then leave it as is.

I like my lights as bright as they can be myself.

Yes we do have a great Brotherhood here and I am always willing to help a Brother out.
You were the one that asked what we thought and I told you and now you cop an attitude. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Not a fan of anything that reduces visibility of lights, regardless of how bright they "seem" to be afterwards. They'll be harder to see, and if you get in a wreck it's going to be an easy scapegoat to pin the fault on.

Where in the OPs post did he ask for opinions? Geez, the poor guy just wanted to know about color matching. Who gives a damn what it looks like. The rice comment was uncalled for.

Not a fan of the Plasti-dip mod. It makes the lights look old and frosted over. The clear lense corners and LED switchback option is a lot nicer IMO and also serves a functional purpose in terms of improving visibility.

IMHO - It maintains an OEM look and feel which is what I am going for.
I am not an advocate for overcooking and overmodding that removes 'OEM' appearance.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions and their perspectives, I was just sharing an idea with the group, that's all.
If you like it, use it - if it's not for you - like my momma used to say and I try to adhere to, if you don't have anything nice to say...and it isn't constructive, professional, etc...
