Both rear view mirror map lights work (with off and on switch on rear view mirror). However, there is another "red light" on the bottom right side of the rearview mirror that I think is there to provide light to the interior.
BUT there is not one on the left side of the mirror for the other side. If I wave my hand under the mirror, the light is definitely on the right side but not the left side. When I looked at my service manuals. It shows only one bulb under the lens cover on each side. Shouldn't there be two bulbs?
Are there supposed to be two "red lights" or just one?

, although the light on mine does a decent job of lighting up the shifter area.

Thanks Everyone
I learned something to and agree, it doesn't light up my shifter area either, thank you.
