Default Halo headlights

Anyone have this headlight installed, pics?

I kind of bought them "accidentally" on fleabay, as my low ball bid went through.

I'm thinking, should I split them and paint the interior black, or leave them chrome. These are not the prettiest headlights around, but still better than the OEM, IMO.

Many of us run those, and they look and perform well. Some have them modified by the radioflyer to upgrade the projector beams.

Bought mine from a forum vender. I chose black because I think it looks better on my car. The chrome might be better on a pewter or yellow car.

I just bought those same exact headlights last week. After a few issues with the install (see Tech forum...), I got them working. Mine came with H11 halogen bulbs, but they stink so I upgraded to H11 55w 6000k HIDs. Much better. They seem good so far, but they are way too high. I need to adjust them down so the light is not hitting the tops of trees. I wired the halos to a separate relay and switch that I will mount behind the ash tray door on the center console. That way I can independently control the halos and not have them solely linked to the headlights.

I bought the non halo ones off ebay for my projector retrofit. They were ~$145. I was unable to remove the projectors as they were glued or cemented to the housing. I returned them (seller was great) and purchased the ACA reproductions from ebay for $225 and completed a retrofit with FX-R projectors. The ACA repros are definitely better quality. I love em.

The lights look nice. The angle of the lids makes the car look kind of sad though, I never noticed that

Someone asked what I paid, it was $100.

Black looks great on yellow.

I even hooked up the halos to the fog light switch so I could control them independently of the headlights.

heres my modified ones... swapped the projector for a nice morimoto high low and put a dummy projector in the high housing for aesthetics then added my own halos wired to the fogs. They work great and the output is amazing.

thought about buying a few more sets and modding them to sell but not sure there'd be any interest.
