Just exactly the same reason C2s are worth more than C3s. They are MUCH better looking. The C5 is beautiful, the C6 looks like a C5 with botched plastic surgery.

Beautiful....good!
Ugly...........bad!

So I took my brake scoops off last week and dropped them off to my Hydro Graphix guy and he sent me pics late last night of them. Their gonna look good IMO! Scoops still have to have clear coat applied but they should be ready this week. Also as of yesterday my new rims are a month out according to the website.

Mother of God! I thought that the spoiler looked like overkill, but then when I saw what else you had done it seemed understated. I can't imagine what it must feel like to drive that car. That's one impressive transformation.

Those look great! I was thinking about doing that once I start some real CF parts. Looks way better than the stick on CF covers IMO.

It's amazing to drive. It's so tame and beastly at the same time. I've let some of my buddy's drive it and they were all impressed how easy it is to drive in a normal setting. But once you unleash it... it's unbelievable how much fun it is and how focused/on edge you get. Thanks for the compliments

To me it makes more sense to have it hydro dipped because of the beating they take. I would hate to have real carbon taking a beating and this only cost me 70 bucks to have done.

Amazing story. Love the progress as things have moved on. I just got back from a weeks vacation in NM a couple of weeks ago. Spent several nights in Santa Fe. Wish I'd have known about this and dropped on over to Albuquerque and seen this monster in person... Great ride.

Thanks RoccoC5. Not sure what exactly happen to number 7. I'll know for sure soon because I plan on putting it in my 96 Impala SS. The shop that did my work thinks the rings are gone. It did look a little extra crispy when they took the heads off it. I'll be taking it apart soon enough and having a engine shop clean it up and see if it can be used for my other ride.
