Default How did YOU discover the Corvette Forum...

I bought my C5 in the fall of 2010. First year I stored it for the winter in my neighbor's garage as they went to Florida for the winter. Next year had to find different storage, so I went with a guy in the Corvette club that I was with at the time.

When I went to pick it up in the Spring of 2012, he took some time to show me his TR supercharged C5. Very modified. My eyes got big as saucers!

I asked him if he did all the mods himself and he said yes...that he was a huge CF fan, which is where he got a lot of his info.

I got home and signed up!

That was April of 2012...

I knew that a corvette forum of some sort would be the best place to get info when I started shopping for one. This seemed like a good, active site.... so here I am.

Pushed the wrong key on my keyboard in a drunken stupor one night. My wallet hasn't been the same since.

I was looking for information on overheating and this site came up. Since I have used it for almost everything I do to the car. There is nothing that is not covered somewhere on here.

I too first heard of it from LS1 tech. Then there were a bunch of guys recommending this site from a C5 group on facebook. Since so many people recommended the site, here I am. 👍

Way back in 1999 Vette Chat was the place to be. There was Coppertop, Ticketb8t, ZR1 Doug, Fastfun and others on VetteChat. Then we heard of this new place called CorvetteForum. Rest is history, Vette Chat no longer exists and CorvetteForum has thrived. Thanks CorvetteForum.

Been so long ago, I don't remember the details . . but I think it was a search for how to fix something on a C3 I was restoring that took me to a link to the forum ... been a daily addiction ever since.

My Google-fu is strong. After I bought my c5, the steering wheel seemed to stick. I said to myself... "brace up, glasshoppah, a search for 'corvette forums' will bling wisdom".

Guess what site's got the first recommended link on a Google search?
