Default Haynes / Chilton

Anyone know where I can get / buy a Haynes or Chilton manual for a C5? Living in Podunk NC no one has either. I went to their web sites and did not see they for sale.

Why not buy a factory service manual? You can buy new from gmpartshouse or try and find a used set in the C5 Parts for Sale section.

I asked about them at my local car parts store. I was told due to low production numbers they did not make any for the C5. Don't know about the accuracy of that statement, I did'nt research it any further.

Never seen one for a C5...as stated above, C4 Manuals were the last one.

They don't exist for vettes anymore. Factory service manual or the internet is your only choice today.

Thanks for the info fellow vetters. Guess I'll bite the bullet and buy the shop manual set.

Answers above are correct.
From the back of a Haynes Automotive Manual:

Just as well, both Haynes and Chilton have been next to useless for years. Tell you how to remove heads, trans, etc but not how to rebuild it. They also try to cover too many years in one edition making pictures inaccurate at best. Insert a generic section on A/C, brakes, radiator and call it good.
