Thank You So Much sfc rick !!!!!
I just recently purchased a 1999 coupe and come to find out that the power steering was leaking Rick who has been a great friend over the years offered to take a look at it. After Rick inspected the area up on a rack it turned out to be to high pressure power steering line that needed to be replaced. I was kinda of freaked out because I had just bought the car and money was a little tight right now for me. Rick told me not to worry and to see how much the part was and that he would install it for me. Part ended up costing a little over $42 and Rick was able to replace it for me today. This was no small task as the alternator had to be removed and the steering pump. Then the steering pump had to be removed from the bracket ( pita ) new power steering line installed and every thing put back together. All in all about a 3+ hour job! Left his house and pulled into my garage and and let it sit for about 15 minutes and no more dripping from the steering. Any one who knows Rick would probably tell you he's one hell of a guy and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it. I really do appreciate what you did for me today Rick. Just wanted to share with everybody
P.S. You and your wife are definitely coming over next week for some of my hard core BBQ Baby Back Ribs
Thanks again my friend

What a great story. I have said it before this is the best forum I have been involved in and hands down the best people. What time should we be there for the ribs?

Yeah, that hose is a pita to replace. You can do it without taking anything off, but it's no fun. I ended up getting one from "the zone" for $17 but probably would have been better off getting a genuine GM part. I've done two of them now, before long will be an expert
