C5 Concealed Carry Pics ONLY
I have my CCW for TN and I was thinking about putting a holster in the car for my Springfield XDS .45ACP. I currently just keep it IWB while driving, but I did buy a MIC, minimal inside carry, to tie to the bottom of the seat rail and have it wedged between the console and the drivers seat kinda like in this video below, but have not gotten around to it yet:
I wanted to see what others have done, but only wanted to have pics and brief description of it. I don't want to hear about people's OPINIONS about their anti-gun views. Thank you.
I ended up getting my MIC Holster from eBay for cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. It was even done in Carbon Fiber. I got two of them, one for each car.
This is the other option I was/am considering as I can mount this anywhere and is universal for all weapons. Providing you didn't 3D print the entire thing.

Can't imagine why I would need to quickdraw my gun in my car. I guess there might be a time if I were in a bad part of town and was getting car jacked... If I think there is even a remote possibility of needing it I would put it in my lap. I like the holster, but it isn't something I would want. I have thought about mounting one behind the passenger seat. It would be almost as easy to access and it would be out of sight at all times. Also, if there is a part of town I think I may need it in, I stay away from it....

I typically will keep mine holstered as I haven't found a good alternative in the Vette due to its space constraints. I really like the idea you have posted and might give it a try. I'm usually cruising with the windows down when I'm driving so a quick draw is something I would like to have. Trying to draw with the seat belt fastened is damn near impossible and I can only imagine trying to accomplish it in a SHTF situation.
Can you post the link of where you got your holster? Doubt they will have one for my SIG, but the XD should fit my SP2022.

Didn't really think about this until one day one of my young female soldiers was running an errand for me in Houston. When she stopped at a convenience store for gas a couple of Mexican thugs run up on her and before she can get out of the van they jump her and steal her stuff. Thankfully she wasn't hurt. It surprised me cause she was driving in her BDU's and in a government van.
I ALWAYS carry now.

I remember trying this about a decade ago , ended up with a fully paid, all inclusive , government provided vacation for a year
So jealous of you states guys and your RIGHT to carry.
Oh well at least I don't have to deal with Obama

Safety Car
i carry mine usually holstered (lcp 380) but whenever i carry my springfield emp 3" 9mm i put it between my right thigh and the seat belt receiver (in a pocket type grippy holster that allows the weapon to be released while remaining in place). my arm usually is capable of covering it so it is not visible in any way.

Better to have and not need than........

I'll try and get this back on track, I carry on my hip, have done so since 1970. The only issue is that you need to have the grip covered if you have a checkered front and back strap (most 1911's). The checkering will mar the plastic on the seatbelt buckle. No big deal, I feel if you carry, it should be on your person, not stached some where. If your in and out of your car and changing holsters you are not concealing your weapon. Just my preference.

Both my wife and I carry every day, Better to have a gun and not need it than need it and not have it! By the way, If you were in the war Zone I was in 1968 you would have perhaps not lived long unarmed.
