Welcome and Thank You for your service!
Good luck with the operation
The stick verses auto discussion will always be that, a discussion.
If you have the auto transmission "tuned" with differing shift timing and shift pressures really makes a noticable difference in performance!

Default knee surgery

Many thanks for the service you have put in for this country. Freedom comes from volunteers like yourself ,not politicians. I pray your surgery goes well. Hope you enjoy that vette as much as i have over the years. I bet you're a good mechanic as fighter planes are tight on space, we had to use cut off wrenches on gruman f9's. .........god bless

Thank you for your service to this great country. Just had my left knee replaced 3 1/2 weeks ago. Very painful first 3 weeks, but it does get better. Was able to get into my 2000 auto after 3 weeks. Just make sure you do the rehab, it makes all the difference. Good luck with your surgery.

Thanks for your service.

FWIW, I had my right knee replace last January. I was playing golf in about 6 weeks. (badly)

Within 6 months your knee will function almost like your real one before it started breaking down. The first two or three weeks will be the toughest for recovery. Do the therapy with a vengence. It'll hurt, but it is the best thing you can do to get your life back to normal.

Default Thank You All

You guys and gals are the best! Sorry haven't responded earlier but between MRI's and X-Rays, blood work and my whole life exposed both civilian and military (medical questions) it's definitely been fun..Not!!!! Especially dealing with VA. If any of you have dealt or dealing or just vets... Not only do you have to fight when other countries dial 911 to save their asses!!!!! But....When you come home you have to fight for medical care almost right up to the moment of surgery, Jeeze!! Enough of my issues. Just wanted to say - For people I've never met....You all feel as long time friends. Kind of like the military. Maybe one day when I get my Vette - I can meet a few if not all of you. Phoenix has been home for so long. Yeah its hot...But the winters..... Vette Heaven!!!!!! So once again, Thank you all - God Bless and please "Grab a Gear for Me"
