The problem is that the bezel is just too big. If you look at other cars that have colors in the center like that, you will find that it is always broken up rather than one huge brick of color taking up the whole console.

I've dyed several interior panels in past cars and always was super easy to scratch right off with no matter how much I prepped the panels I just had no luck. I came up with a trick the last time and I plastidipped the panel first then sprayed the interior dye over that. The plastidip had a much stronger bond to the panel than the paint did for me. and the dye grabbed on to the plastip much stronger than it did to the panel. Paint /Dye on top of plastidip causes the dip to loose much of its soft easy to peel properties. Anyway just something else to think about for those that want to change the color of their interior.

Yep yep, yours looks like it turned out perfect. But just a way I found if anyone is like me and can't seem to get the dye to stick. Been thinking about doing my lowers in red too but I have gray carpet so ehhhh… If I had black carpet I for sure go for it.

I guess I like my "quite boring" all black interior a little too much to start monkeying with it. I think it looks rich. To each his own.

Agreed, to each his own. After riding in my fathers C6 with a black/tan/gunmetal interior I wanted to experiment. Red is going to stay. Worst case I strip and redo the grey another color.

Really the carbon fiber wrap is looking like the change I'll be making soon

I love the mostly black interiors with some brushed metal and/or carbon fiber accents like they use on Audi interiors. It's still almost all black, but the few hints of color really liven up the cabin.

Center front console only. It looks super nice. Pics do never seem to do it justice.

Adding more CF will be over the top. If you must add more CF do it under the hood. JMOP.
