Thanks for the link to the build codes. I've had my '00 FRC for about a week now and just wrote them all down. As seen in another thread the Z51 code is not present - but the FE3 is (which I guess includes Z51). I have some rattles as well (60k on the ODO) and will be starting out by replacing the sway bar end links. Enjoy the ride!

I wanted the Z06 soooo bad, but I needed the targa top and added space of the coupe. But you are correct on the money saved aspect for a performance machine. The Z06 is an amazing stock setup.
