Just picked this up from Ft Myers, FL and drove back to Atlanta. It has a few minor cosmetic issues and I think a bad wheel bearing, but happy with what I paid.

Looks like a good find Congrat's
How many miles?
I had one of my rear bearings go noisey around 40K miles, replaced them both with SKF Racing Bearings - Fortunate to get them off the for sale section on the forum, saved a few $$.

Thanks for all the kind words. I took a risk flying down there to pick it up, but the guy was honest and took care of it. I was expecting a well used example, but was completely shocked when I saw it in person. He was the second owner and the 1st is a personal friend of his. Gave me a big stack of records too. Car had 103K when I bought it, now has 104K after drive back and playing past 2 days. Does anyone know how I can tell if the car has the steering lock issue addressed? You can turn the steering wheel all the way around with the keys out. My wife took it out for a drive and now she wants to drive it everywhere lol. I've got a bit to learn as I come from a long line of turbo 4s. I currently have a 435WHP 91 Eclipse and also an 05 Mitsubishi Evolution that the Z06 sleeps in the garage with.

Yeah, really the whole car scene seems to be full of retards. Looking around here seems like people are normal on this forum. I actually have a Laser, but figured no one would know what one was lol. Here is a pic of the other 2 children.

Haha, all of mine have been 1G Lasers sans for a random gst. I've had 2 different 92 awd lasers and I swear most don't know they exist outside of the dsm circles. I guess that's why I still have this stupid screename I keep using...

There was a recall done regarding the steering lock issue. If you contact a GM dealer they should be able to let you know with your VIN number.
BUT... even if this recall work was done, you are still liable to get stranded with the 2 mph cutoff issue.
Check to see if a CLB or LMC5 was installed in your car. Then you won't have the steering wheel lock problem.
